How should the heating plate be stored, and is there a specific way to roll it up?

The heating mat is crafted from flexible silicone material, allowing it to be easily rolled or bent without compromising its functionality. For optimal storage, we suggest rolling up the mat as demonstrated in the main image.

Why doesn't the surface of the mat reach the advertised 100°C (212°F) when measured with an infrared thermometer?

The max temperature is set at 95±5°C to protect surfaces like wood or marble from prolonged heat. Infrared thermometers may show lower readings due to varied emissivity settings. For precise measurement, use a thermocouple thermometer.

Are there any specific requirements for the tabletop when using the heating plate?

The underside of the heating pad has 1cm high thermal insulation pillars that help protect your tabletop from heat damage. However, we recommend using it only on heat-resistant surfaces to ensure safety and avoid potential damage.

Can the heating plate be used all day? I'm worried I might forget to turn it off.

We don't recommend using it all day, but don’t worry—there’s an auto shut-off feature that turns off the mat after up to 3 hours of continuous use.
